Historically speaking, Stanford men and women's teams (when the latter did compete in the ITAs) have always struggled playing indoors.

That may be true but we achieved our biggest margin of victory in last year's NCAA tournament (after the first round) indoors against Vanderbilt last year in the NCAA semifinals, and Vanderbilt practices and plays a lot indoors.

I ventured this thought because I think we are at a disadvantage playing in the high heat + high humidity in Georgia (and Tulsa last year) against teams that practice and play in it all the time.
