They may have softly spoken but don't carry a big stick. Was Coach Lang a scapegoat or like you said was she tired of the natural? Maybe her ability to be a good hitting coach was stifled under Hanson. You Can't blame Stanford's woes on pitching! The pitchers had some bright spots this yr. I don't know who was calling the shots as far as the pitchers go, but it was Hanson(which I expect it was), she left her starters in way too long when struggling. With 5 capable arms plus Kylie Sorenson, who pitched a gr8 2+ innings late I the season, she did a horrible job of managing her staff.
Can't blame pitching! What will they do when Maddy Dwyer enters this Fall? I now count 6 pitchers!  Fundamental softball skills seems to be the problem! THAT'S COACHING!
