email Muir if you want your voice to be heard. Every time I emailed him about Dawkins he actually called me - three years in a row. Then when he finally fired him I thanked him for finally doing the right thing for the program - and told him I'd be willing to accept an apology phone call :)

My email to Muir about Hanson was short & sweet. This isn't even mediocrity which Stanford shouldn't accept, and there has been no material improvement from year one.

Great call. I just sent an email. I even mentioned this thread (started in February, viewed in excess of 20,000 times, 22pages and counting, with reasons why it's past time for a change in leadership articulated by concerned alumni/fans).
I will post here if I get any response. Not holding my breath though...
