I understand people don't always adhere to warning labels on the pills, but that's no excuse.

Sometimes people adhere to the warning labels on their pills but are unaware of the effect of taking those pills in combination with other pills.

I'm not trying to make excuses for Tiger, for all we know he irresponsibly didn't adhere to his doctor's instructions, but it does happen that people naively mix contraindicated prescription and non-prescription medication with adverse results, including death.
