We had 13 on the roster last year:  Coffee, Wilson, Fingall, Johnson, Roberson, Smith, McPhee, Sniezek, Brewer, Carrington, Romano, McCall, Samuelson.  We would have had 15 except for the early exits of Kailee Johnson and Lili Thompson.

Three graduated:  Roberson, McCall, Samuelson.  That brings us down to 10 scholarships carrying over to 17-18.

Four are coming in:  Williams, Dodson, Moschkau, and Jerome.  That takes us to 14 scholarships on the roster for 17-18.

At the end of this season, Kaylee and Brittany graduate.  They are the only seniors.  So we will go to 12 scholarships carrying over to to 18-19.

We now have commits from Brown, Hull, and Hull for 2018.  That will put us at 15 Scholarships for 2018-2019.

So the only chance of getting a fourth scholarship for 18-19 is if one of our existing scholarship players left. 

Now, the speculation about whether one of our existing scholarship players might be leaving, allowing Tara to unexpectedly grab a fourth recruit (which would mean she still has room for a post) is just that--speculation.  It might be true, or it might not.  But if it were true, I would be highly worried.  It is just as likely that such a departure would be the result of a player leaving for medical reasons as for anything else.  And we have an obvious candidate for such a departure, and I deeply hope it won't happen.
