Things that stood out from the roster update:
1. Only three FBs on the roster, but six TEs - Just a few years ago Shaw used to talk about having six FBs on the roster as an indicator of how Stanford is a run-oriented team. Can't help but think they are moving in a direction where they don't want teams to load up on stopping the run as much as in the past.
2. Sione Lund is listed as a RB, NOT a FB, at 6-1 254. This would be the biggest RB Stanford has ever had that I can remember. I don't think there has been enough enthusiasm expressed for Lund as a RB in the Stanford program.
3. Conor Wedington is listed as RB/WR, indicating he's expected to possibly play a CMac-type role in the offense. It remains to be seen how good he can be as a receiver, but based on the RB depth chart, guessing he will be used more as a WR than as a RB over his Stanford career.
