The trip is an extension of training camp. Team will be over there for a week. They have to take everyone. No coaches are going to stay back to tend to non-travelers.

The two deep defense, with the exception of the line, will be stout and the line won't be overmatched by Rice. Certainly LB's and secondary 2nd team will still dominate Rice.

I expect at least 35 points for Stanford and don't see Rice sustaining a drive.

Whoa, didn't realize everybody and his dog were going. Good for team unity, I suppose, but muy caro. I assume some Aussie group is footing most of the bill.
If Rice can't do anything offensively, I expect Shaw to take his foot off the accelerator before we hit 35, but we'll see what happens. It would be fun to see what Costello and some of the key freshmen can do.
