Not a fade. A 50-50 jump ball. Fade is a throw lofted to back corner over the shoulder that receiver tries to run under.  😜 Stanford's  TE and tall receivers more often than not take a few steps, stop turn and basically try to "block out" the DB, then out jump him and catch the ball at its highest point. Frankly it's a akin to going for a rebound. But it is not a fade route.
