AncientCity, McKay said that the Stanford fans swore at his team and directed racial remarks to his black players after U.SC won at Stanford in 1972 which led to his famous comment, "I'd like to beat Stanford by 2,000 points." Were you around Stanford Stadium for that one? I would welcome a first hand report.
You cannot argue with his record or that of his successor John Robinson. Between 1957 and 1990, Stanford only beat U.SC 3 times. We still have a lot to do to make up for 33 years of frustration.
