FWIW, Shaw seems to be looking at this, at least publicly, as a one game aberration. I don't buy it. I am guilty of an "eye test" criteria for Stanford QBs. Chryst hasn't shown me he can execute the designed throws accurately and repeatably even with no pressure, let alone zip one in there when it is a tight window and the play is breaking down. Now, we have had (in the somewhat distant past) some guys that could make the designed throws but couldn't actually deliver wins. I haven't seen Chryst show me enough to make me feel he is even in that category. I guess that is why Shaw has the job and I don't.
