This is a serious blow to the Utes ... probably.
Huntley had looked pretty good in three games against North Dakota (note this is NOT North Dakota State), BYU, and SJSU. Not exactly a killer slate. (BYU this year is 1-3, with a win over Portland State)
Troy Williams was their main starter last year, but he has never been particularly accurate sticking around 50% completions. His PER was about the same as Burns. However, he can run okay and can be very streaky - can get on a hot streak. He struggled a bit coming in against Arizona, but perhaps was not completely ready to play. He'll get plenty of practice reps in the next week plus.
Arizona outplayed Utah in many aspects of the game, outgaining the Utes 448-341, but were down three on turnovers (INTs) and missed two of three field goal attempts.
Utah does have a bye week before our game, and is at home. Those are big advantages for the Utes.
