He certainly has an attention to detail. At the end of the first half, as we were trying to tack on a touchdown, Costello asked the ref to exchange the football... twice! Kind of like a pitcher looking for a baseball with laces he could grip better. Never seen that before (we happened to be sitting in the upper deck, right above the goal line). As it turned out, didn't help as we had to settle for a FG. Anyone else catch that?

Last week against UCLA, while watching pre game warm-ups, I noticed that Chryst, Burns and Costello were particular about which ball they selected (from a storage  basket that an attendant held). For example, a QB would pick a ball, grip it, reject it, select another one etc...
Don't know what that's about.
