I've spent some time in the Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale area and a major problem with this area is that everything seems to be about 12-15 miles away from where you are. Downtown Phoenix is also fairly boring. Scottsdale is a pretty good drinking town if that's your thing, which really isn't mine.Â
