He said he anticipates that Chryst might be tempted to turn pro after this season “if he continues on the path that he’s on.” On the other hand, Shaw said, “he may want to come back and put more film out there, which is great.

Hmm, that's an interesting comment to put out.  I'm one of Chryst's biggest cheerleaders (if only by comparison to others here; I too want to see more of Costello), and yet it is hard for me to take the comment seriously.  Perhaps to be filed under the "Shaw sometimes says things for very specific reasons, and we are not the audience" file.  I'm guessing he thinks Chryst could do with a dose of confidence?
