Just to be clear, the movie isnt claiming that MSt was the first integrated team, but rather the first fully integrated team, with as many as 20 Black players. Kind of like UTEP (Glory Road) wasnt the first team with Black players, but the first majority Black team to win the NcAA bball championship.Â MSt went on to be #1 in at least one poll in 1965 and had 4 of the first 8 NFL draft picks a couple years later.
