Also, we started running more middle distance pass routes, instead of all the short stuff we tried initially. This didn't help much, but it was an adjustment that needed to be made.

Yeah, adjustments were made. The big adjustment -- at QB -- wasn't. Which goes back to the theory that the coaches are very attached to Chryst, for reasons that can only be speculated about.
