Why? There's still 1/4 of the season left. This game wasn't great, sure, but the offense is a lot better at home and we'll play two likely top-10 teams. If he has big games against them (even in losses) he'll definitely make the trip.

It's actually amazing that Love kept his streak of 40+ yard touchdown runs in this game considering how bad the offensive line in. Just goes to show that just getting one crease means he's going the distance. There were definitely 2-3 other runs that I can remember if one guy makes one more block, Love has another big play. And all he needs is a big game against Notre Dame to get that NY invite....especially if it's against an Irish team that needs that last win to make the playoff.
