I was dismayed at the number of turnovers last night: 9 in the first half and 13 overall. We had 17 turnovers on Saturday night, and I saw someplace that we've turned the ball over on 21% of our possessions this year. Despite the good defense and the good record so far this year, turnovers are going to be what holds this team back. We have a tendency to force the ball and to make stupid plays (last night Randle and another player missed a handoff in the backcourt with no defenders around). If the turnovers don't improve, it's going be a problem against Pac-12 teams, who will have bigger and more athletic defenders than we've seen so far.
