Texas has a shade better WRs than Stanford.  Chew on that for a second.

Stanford has a better OL than Texas, but I think Malcolm Brown at his full college potential will be at least equal to, if not better than, Stepfan Taylor.  The Brown/Bergeron combo, when fully developed, will be a sight to behold.  Stepfan Taylor right now is better than Brown, esp in the all-important blitz pickup department.

Texas has better DL than Stanford for sure.  And let's be honest.  Texas doesn't have a quarterback...yet.  Stanford has the QB that Texas should have gone after (but oh, we're so grateful they banked on Gilbert instead).

Especially since we went after Gilbert too.

Of course, given JH's throw enough you-know-what against the wall that some is bound to stick recruiting style, there aren't too many QB's we didn't offer.

Gilbert, Barkley, RGIII, Landry Jones, E.J. Manuel are a few that immediately jump to mind.
