Love that Shaw didn't try the field goal of death and instead let his guys earn 1 yard to seal it.  A very Stanford way to win it.

All the metrics would be for this.  I'm pleased Shaw made the right call.  Even if you go for it and don't make it, you are not that much worse off than had you kicked the field goal.  And if you gain one yard you win the game.
