He lost me then and I haven't read much of his work since that impressed me that he was anything but a beat writer grinding it out. Now the PAC 12 is theoretically his whole beat but I haven't read a lot of his stuff that seems particularly insightful. A beat writer lucky to be one of the guys on the raft as the newspaper media world sank lower and lower in the water.
