In the second quarter we have had balanced scoring and are shooting 55% overall, with Carrington, Romano, and Smith leading the way each with 7 or 8 points.  We have not been able to entirely shut down their three point shooting.  Romano and Williams seem to be assigned to their top shooters and the announcer praised Romano's athletic close defense.

While our offense seems decent, our defense had not been sharp enough.  While we have had very few turnovers and while rebounds are more or less even,  Belmont's is making three point shots while we are making 2 point shots.  We go into halftime tied 37-37.
