I'm not talking about generic receiver error, and I'm not talking about other quarterbacks. I'm talking about a few specific passes by Luck this year.
The specific question was whether Oklahoma State could try to replicate whatever Oregon did to cause Luck to throw 2 interceptions. My point is that neither of those 2 interceptions resulted from the defensive scheme by Oregon, and it follows that there isn't a viable OK State defensive scheme that could replicate those 2 interceptions.
I also made the point that more generally, 4 of Luck's 9 interceptions came on balls that should have been completions because they were well thrown balls that the receivers dropped (or in one case the receiver fell down). My point is that those particular interceptions do not suggest a defensive scheme that OK State could pursue successfully, because the defensive scheme did not cause those particular interceptions.
