Are a higher proportion of Luck's interceptions due to "receiver error" than the average FBS QB? Perhaps it's just because he has so few, that we can distinctly remember each of them and the cause. I wouldn't be surprised if most FBS QBs have a decent proportion of their passes from "receiver error." Of course you could make an argument that what appears as receiver error may have been the result of a poorly thrown ball. I'm not saying this is the case, but if a QB guns the ball into a receiver's hands from ten yards away, it might be that the passer's lack of "touch" deserves at least partial responsibility.
FWIW, I think Luck has also benefited from a fair number of drops by DBs on ball that were thrown right into a DBs hands. Heck, I remember two such cases from the Orange Bowl last year that could have dramatically changed the outcome of that game.
