how much does losing to #1 or #2 team hurt us in the RPI?

Not much, but the problem is we have no good wins.  We have a bimodal distribution of teams--the very best to which we lost and those that are much, much worse which we won.  "Strong" losses and "weak" wins leaves us where we are--with a mediocre Sagarin ranking. 

That is going to change one way or the other as we get into Pac 12 play.
