They did run on first more than I would have liked. They got off to a great start in second half running. Obviously felt they could continue. Also I think trying to control ball keep defense off field may have played into it.
But again its always coaches when they lose. They got outplayed. TCU had considerably more speed. Defense got torched. Didnt help that Reid went down.

Letting Costello do a few read options would have kept the defense honest - I recall one of the commentators saying much the same thing.
