I wonder if Kelby Tomlinson could play in the outfield.  He's career .282 hitter with a .350 OBP (.370 at AT&T) and a .701 OPS.  Has some speed, would average 15 steals and 5 caught stealing over 162 games.  Better hitter at night, doesn't do well against power pitchers, does best batting leadoff and 8th in the order.  Career .328 pinch hitter. 

Remember Eduardo Nunez?  He batted .308/.334.417/.751 for the Giants before being traded last year (and ending up batting .313 overall).  He played LF and RF for the Giants last year and was an all-star for the Twins in 2016.  21 doubles for Giants in 76 games.  Stole 24 bases.  Only 31.  He's still an unsigned free agent.  Could probably be had for $4 to $5 million.

BTW, it was an underrated failure of the Giants that so few non-regulars got to play (relatively speaking). 

Also, Brandon Belt has had three concussions in four years, and four in the last eight (including a really bad one at UTexas).
