Saw a stat on Buster Posey. After 1,000 games he has a higher OPS than Johnny Bench. Buster has had power outages the second halves of both ‘16 and ‘17. Which suggests to me he’s been dinged both years. I KNOW he was in ‘16. He was hitting with almost no lower body.

He would hit .325 with 20 to 25 HR’s if he played first. But he’s too valuable behind the plate defensively. Plus it’s where he wants to be.

Buster Olney recently did his top 10 positionally. Buster was 1 at Catcher. Crawford 6th. Bum  no 6 starter (Interestingly Kershaw was 4th. Injured last two years).  Longoria 10th.

Outfield was ranked just behind the Toledo Mud Hens.
