We will see if he will start.Â He would still be a true freshman.Â But it seems pretty clear that his motivation for going to SC early was to take advantage of the opening created by Darnolds departure to the NFL.Â Now he gets to compete for a starting job rather than having to unseat an incumbent if he came in next year.
