The 3rd pick in the first round (plus the 3rd picks in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th rounds, and the 4th picks in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th rounds, due to a tiebreaker with Houston) should have tremendous value whether the Colts keep it or trade it.  Keep it and take edge rusher Bradley Chubb of NC State, or trade back to one of many QB-needy teams to hoard as many early-round picks as you can. 

It's still a bad roster, but it was a lot better last year than the year before, QB excepted.  And it'll get better this year.  It takes time to dig out from a really bad GM like Grigson, but Ballard sure seems like the guy to do it.  And I'm thrilled to see Andrew in a dynamic offensive system that should give him more options for early throws.
