LOL Mick will probably correct me again but I think it was Cepeda’s SF that put us ahead in the 9th and then we added one more as insurance.

Then later, Chuck Hiller’s GS at Yankee Stadium and of course McCovey’s liner that had Charlie Brown depressed for a week.

But what also hurt was Wills “stole” the MVP award from Mays that year.

Awesome battles vs the Dodgers.  Of course the play off in 1962 was my favorite.
