Griff W has signed with the Raiders. I'm kind of surprised he's still making a go of it. Do you make enough money as a player on practice squads and sometimes activated to make it work? I would think after 4-5 seasons if you don't stick, you need to make the tough decisions.

Griff has actually, with the exception of his offseason stop in Miami in 2016, logged regular season snaps on every team that he has been on since entering the league in 2012 (43 games played, with 3 starts). Furthermore, according to Spotrac, he has earned, not including any off-the-field endorsements, $2.2 million in career earnings through the end of last season. While taxes, agent commissions etc. would undoubtedly reduce that figure, that amount of money in 5 years as a journeyman WR is more money than many people will make in their entire careers.
