I believe you are limited to so many events thus Manuel didn’t swim last night.  Nor was she needed obliviously

Yeah, you are limited to 7 events, and I think 3 individual.
Since there are 5 relays, Manuel had to be kept out of one, which apparently was the 4x200 free.
