They actually already had that swim, and she missed out by 5 hundredths of a second. Grueling is right--despite swimming hard for a spot in the B final, both swimmers were off by about 6.5 seconds from their first time today, and while Byrnes apparently made a great push at the end, she was just out-touched by the Georgia swimmer.
