Nice team awards banquet today. I didn't learn any hot news, but had a great time. Somehow I got seated at a table with Kate Paye and her daughter, Alanna Smith, new faculty liaison Prof. Jeff Koseff, and a bunch of folks who must have been big donors and/or very long time fans. I was the only person at the table who Tara didn't call out for applause during the event. :D
The banquet was brunch instead of dinner this time, and that worked out great. It was a beautiful day to go for a walk around campus afterward.
Kaylee gave a great farewell speech. She was a tough act for Brit to follow. Both got standing ovations from the crowd.
