One more thing: By getting two really good wins in the Pac-12 tournament, over #50 Vanessa Wong of UW and #30 Jada Hart of UCLA, Melissa Lord might help her ranking enough to make the cut for the NCAA singles tournament (just completing those matches was important for her, too, as she now has 7 completed matches this spring, and you need 6 to be eligible for an at-large selection). Arbuthnott might be there as well, as she got a nice ranked win over Altick, which may be enough to keep her ranking about where it is (#51). (Gordon will, of course, be there, and very likely as a seeded player.)
As for doubles, Arbuthnott/Gordon will be in the NCAA field (and as a national seed), but that'll be it.
Last year, Taylor Davidson was one of the very last players to get into the field, at #59. Lord's ranking before the Pac-12 tournament was #68, but I would think this week had to give her a nice boost.
