I presume the renovations being done are quite extensive.  During a recent trip to the Bay Area I was told that the entire course was closed.  Does anyone know any details?  I totally love the course and would be really excited if they were lengthening it to address the issues noted by Hulk01.  However, I don't know if there is space available to do that effectively.  A second course could be a very exciting prospect if it came about.
