The only way Ogre has been stopped in the past has been by a fast edge defender getting the ball carrier from the side before he reaches the LOS.
I think our scheme is designed to take out one of the edge defenders, but not both, and when the D had two guys rushing hard from the edge the real battle began if the hole was slow to develop.
Gaffney had the brute strength to carry the tackler forward and make the yardage in those cases. CMac and Bryce didn’t.
