I'm starting to think that 7-9 wins is the new norm. It's better than the Buddy/Wlat days, but I miss the Rose Bowls.

We just played two ranked teams on the road in a row.  We have one more ranked team left on our schedule (UW) on the road as Cal will tumble out of the rankings, and maybe one ranked team at home (WSU).  We should be able to win every other game (doesn’t mean we will win every game, of course), but we will need our offensive line to be better.

But gee, a 4-1 start to the season with wins over sc and Oregon is something I would take most years.
