We just played two ranked teams on the road in a row. We have one more ranked team left on our schedule (UW) on the road as Cal will tumble out of the rankings, and maybe one ranked team at home (WSU). We should be able to win every other game (doesn’t mean we will win every game, of course), but we will need our offensive line to be better.
But gee, a 4-1 start to the season with wins over sc and Oregon is something I would take most years.

The fact is that the schedule is brutal this year (as it is most even years), and we knew that these two games would be the hardest spot in a hard schedule. To come away 1-1 is fine. We're still 2-0 in conference play with wins over 2 of the 4 toughest opponents, and unlike ND we should have multiple ranked games left to play. If we can get the OL back on track, I like our odds.
Of course, it's been 5 weeks and the OL still isn't on track, so that's worrying. But we get Utah at home and then a mini-bye before ASU, so we should have some time.
