They were defending the last play instead of the next one. They almost got beat by a deep ball Hail Mary, so on the next play they lined up to prevent exactly that. That's on our coaches for not recognizing the situation and not defending the intermediate pass that allowed for a field goal try, but it was also smart of the Utah coaches to take what we gave them.
