We had plenty of time and messed it up by substituting, giving Washington  an opportunity  to sub and waste time.

POOR game management.

The refs cost us six seconds on the final drive.

The decision to sub out Parkinson for St. Brown cost 28 - TWENTY EIGHT! - seconds.

Why we didn't just run up and spike the ball, and then sub, is beyond me.  That clock mismanagement killed me.  There WAS plenty of time, and we were gashing their defense at that time.

The clock ticking away was the other part that drove me crazy about running 3 times from the 8 yard line when we had limited time to make a comeback.  How much time did we lose there?
