It may have been bad because of the situation it nullified, but it was neither stupid nor inexcusable since he was being held and was using a swim move to free himself. Should have been a UW penalty.

True, but it seemed like he didn't see the field much after that play.  I don't think I heard his number called at all in the second half.  I wonder if Shaw or Lance sat him.
