...but this looks like it has Montag fingerprints on it.    So it goes.  Earlier in the process he had a 3.2 GPA reported.  Just one data point, but that's flying low, close to the flak from admissions.    But he's not coming and otherwise made a great alternative decision.  He's not going to Kal nor the Domers.   

Beyond that,  he's a high potential kid.  Not a lock to be a holy terror,  but what one stat head called "high beta", lots of room to move way up... or disappoint (relative to the hype he's received).  NW staff is stable and seems to do all right coaching up the kids they get.  I'd put money on a very productive defensive player for them.
