We should never underestimate or disrespect any opponent, but we also should have confidence in ourselves that we'll do well (I'm speaking universally, from both a team and a fanbase perspective) and I'm not saying the team is lacking in this area, but I wanted to make a broader point

Playing Baylor, at Tennessee and at Buffalo is not an easy task, but if we want to regain that upper echelon we've held in the late 2000s and early 2010s, we need to have the self-belief that we will do well (again from both perspectives)

I look forward to seeing our team improve and individual players step up their levels.

Hopefully, even though we lose important players to graduation, this season will begin an upward trajectory as we welcome Haley Jones and a great recruiting class next year and Cameron Brink and co. the year afterwards

The article about Brink linked on the Fast Break Club website talked about how Dell Curry helped her with her shot. If his lessons helped Cameron's 3-point shot be something similarly lethal to his own and his sons' long-range jumpers, then we could be in for a few tremendous seasons

Also interesting on the FBC website was a link to a story about recruiting and in that article, a mention about a tweet from Michelle Smith, speculating that Tara might step down in the next couple years and make the transition easier (with such high-level talent on the roster) for Kate Paye potentially. It seems like pure speculation at this point, but at one point (hopefully not for a long time), someone other than Tara will be our head women's basketball coach
