I was very interested to see how Jos would play against a team with players taller than she is.  She's demonstrated that she can be effective against smaller teams, but I was still wondering how she would do against bigger opponents.  I'd have to say she was pretty scrappy yesterday.  I liked what I saw.

VG has already mentioned what I thought was the key insight into an otherwise forgettable game.  Playing Jos at the high post made the Stanford offense look better than it has all year.  (I completely agree with the comments about the unimaginative triangle against the zone.)  Tara has been subbing Jos in for one of the sisters most of the year.  Having her on the floor with them was highly effective, at least in this game.

I'm feeling the loss of Jasmine Camp a little bit more with every game.  Orrange has got to step it up.  I think she'll get there on the offensive end, but I just don't know whether she can do it defensively this year. It makes me marvel all the more at how good Kayla was defensively in her first year.  Tara had her guarding Candice Parker!
