Smith is a beast. He’s going to be a big time NFL TE. KJ is not close to being NFL ready. He’d be foolish to come out.
I think her comments are BS. I hate it when parents say crap like that. The staff can’t respond. And parents have essentially tunnel vision. Plus most of them don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
If your kid plays for someone who abuses kids, by all means speak out. But comments like hers just suggest some sort of bitterness over playing time. Which usually is the BS all parents are talking about.
Anyone who has coached at any level has dealt with a parent who comes up to talk to you and starts off saying “this is not about playing time”. Bullsh-t it’s almost always about playing time

His mom commented on Wilson's aforementioned instagram post with the following:

Much love to you Nick! You are an amazing young man and the best roommate ever! Can’t wait to see what great things are ahead of you - football never defined you and I’m glad you are finally free from the BS that was handed to you this past season! Grind and advance for your own purposes now!
Her son, I would think, would also like to be "finally free from the BS that was handed to" him...
