We reportedly were at least seriously considered by someone who was one and done during the Dawkins years (he went to Duke).  No idea if he applied/was admitted/admissable, but Dawkins thought he might be.

I remember our miss on Emeka Okafor to UConn when Jason Collins dilly-dallied about whether to go pro, but that was during the Monty years. Who was the Dawkins-era miss?

Not Okafor, who during recruitment was still a bit of a project.  But to be honest, I’ve forgotten the name of the recruit.  Perhaps some of the hardcore recruitniks will remember.
