I read somewhere that we recruited Gonzales when she was in high school. How seriously did we consider her, or, conversely, did she consider us?

From the post game, someone from the press says to Gonzales "You were talking yesterday that Stanford had recruited you a little bit".  I'm interpreting that as there was interest but "a little bit" probably means no offer.  Gonzales was the 27th ranked point guard according to HoopGurlz.  Shows you can be a very good college player even if you aren't that highly ranked.

She wasn't in the HoopGurlz Top 100 and when Tara was asked about having "recruited her a bit," Tara said, "yeah, we probably should have recruited her more." It didn't sound like there had been a very serious effort, and she was not considered an elite prospect in high school.
