Well, as I predicted on Friday, Game #3 ends up being canceled as well. Not sure you
can refer to 1 game as a series, but Stanford leaves Corvallis undefeated.
With 3 Pac-12 games now canceled, and 6 total games on season, Coach Allister
might want to schedule another couple of midweek games (midweek against
Cal before Washington series or San Jose State before UCLA series?)
Three winnable Pac-12 games (particularly the one at Cal that we led 4-0
before it was called) that unfortunately end up canceled.
I worry that might make a difference in a hosting decision, for example,
since two teams ahead of us (Texas Tech and Kentucky) both lost home series in
conference this week.
Card definitely right in the conversation for top 16 seed, along with Louisiana Lafeytte,
James Madison, Northwestern (we have H2H), Michigan (we also have H2H), Virginia Tech,
along with Texas Tech and Kentucky.
If season ended today, I personally would give Card either #15 or #16 national seed.
